Talia Banayan
PsyD Student

Talia is currently a clinical psychology doctoral student at Loma Linda University’s School of Behavioral Health. Her research interests include examining social factors that impact childhood development, primarily with trauma resiliency and within the educational system. Additionally, she is interested in ways to increase the presence of mental health resources in pre-existing community systems.

Talia is researching hope- and growth-mindsets as a form of resiliency among students. In particular, she is focusing her study on students who have transitioned into a continuation high school setting, in an low-income, under-served community.
