 Announcing the new GRASP awardees

Loma Linda University has announced awardees for its new Grants for Research and School Partnerships (GRASP) awards. 


GRASP awards are given in recognition of multi-departmental collaborative research projects that have the potential to receive funding from a foundation or the National Institutes of Health.  

 

Here are the recipients of the GRASP awards.

Maya Boustani, PhD, MS, assistant professor of psychology, School of Behavioral Health and Sigrid Burruss, MD, assistant professor of surgery, School of Medicine
Research title: Youth Alternative Solutions Program: Developing and testing the effectiveness of an innovative program to reduce substance use involvement in youth living in an underserved community

 “The proposed research is an enhancement and an evaluation of the Youth Alternative Solutions Program (YASP), a hospital-based intervention program at Loma Linda University Hospital (LLUH), the level 1 trauma center for San Bernardino County.”
